WG15G Oval Spoon Excavator

The WG15G belongs to HDY’s endodontic excavator range. Its oval spoon geometry supports controlled manipulation in narrow or deep treatment areas.

Instrument choice near delicate pulpal structures must follow the clinician’s diagnosis, visualization and applicable treatment protocol. A smaller instrument is not automatically safer unless it is used with controlled force and clear anatomical awareness.

Clinical principle: Match the working-end size to the actual preparation. Excavate progressively, reassess frequently and preserve sound tooth structure whenever clinically appropriate.

Processing and Handling

Clinical and Instrument-Care Considerations

Maintain isolation and moisture control according to the selected restorative system.
Follow the adhesive and composite manufacturers’ instructions for placement and curing.
Do not treat a 2 mm increment as a universal rule; recommended curing depth varies by material.
Remove uncured composite from instrument surfaces before it hardens.
Clean fine working ends promptly and protect them from impact during transport and processing.
Use only the cleaning and sterilization parameters specified for each instrument.
